/// The Program ///

Aaron Winters is the graphic designer, illustrator, fine artist and musician behind Abide Visuals (AVMJ).

AVMJ handles a wide variety of freelance projects ranging from magazine design to event promotion to t-shirt and toy design, having served as webmaster for Vapors magazine and providing art direction for COLOR, THELEGEND, California Landscaping and Fork It magazines and the Weird Forest and Claire's Echo record labels. AVMJ was recognized with a Merit honor for package design in the 2006 HOW Magazine International Design Annual and was included in the 2007 Design Biennial at the Pasadena Museum Of California Art.

Aaron has used this knowledge to lecture on design and underground communities at the university level and the Crocker Art Museum and to co-curate the Spoken With Eyes design retrospective at the UC Davis Design Museum in June 2006.

Aaron's enthusiasm for the design is likewise apparent in his fine art pursuits, having shown in and organized group shows internationally. His work can be found in in the pages of the Semi-permanent06 and iDN's Vinyl Will Kill books.
